Nightfall Birch II 18" x 24" Original

18"X24" Wood Canvas.

Nightfall Birch draws from the last evening moments before the sun sets.  The sky deepens and the trees seem to soften.

There's something about this technique: the texture, the unpredictability, the areas I can't control.  I'll start with an idea, but the surface always surprises me and honestly, that's my favorite part.
